General Information
The Surrounding Community

N.B. Clements Junior High School could not be successful and meet our goals without a community that truly supports the schools!

Prince George County is centrally located in southeastern Virginia, 25 miles southeast of Richmond, 125 miles south of Washington, D.C., and 90 miles northwest of the port of Hampton Roads. It is primarily a developing suburban county, bordered on the north by the James River and on the west by the Appomattox River. Fort Lee borders the northwest edge of the county.

Low tax rates, a stable political climate, quality education, easy access to higher educational facilities, a readily available workforce with a high degree of trainability, a bountiful supply of recreational activities, and a location providing easy access to mountains and seashore make Prince George County a highly desirable community. More information about the government, history, and demographics of Prince George County may be found at the county's website.
